A Letter from Our Chair

Heart Disease is the number one killer of Americans today. And stroke is number four. It is the mission of the American Heart Association to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The AHA is instrumental in the development of pacemakers, heart monitors and stents as well as the research needed to continue to develop the tools to combat these diseases. But we need more – we want to reduce the number of people suffering from heart disease and stroke in Acadiana.

Please join us in this fight. Your commitment and support of the mission of the American Heart Association will continue to help us fight this disease in our community and to raise the next generation to be healthy and free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.
